Let's keep it civil, folks!

Let's keep it civil, folks

My campaign to be your State Representative for the 81st House District is based on the issues, on the facts, and on our respective records. I expect my supporters to express themselves with civility and courtesy and to refrain from making personal attacks against any of our fellow residents. As a Republican, I will support the candidate chosen on March 20th, whether it is myself or my opponent, and our future solidarity requires that we be civil, today.

You know he would have turned them down Jeffrey... If you need verification, please check with the puppet master Brian K.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 05:45 pm
Lee,
At least Deb is still in a political race! I am sure you don't like the tweet I discovered! Tweet tweet the liberal Hunstman is gone! Hopefully, Ron will follow in his footsteps on March 20th.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 05:48 pm
Tweets and voting records that are factual and I am the hack? That's funny guys! I didn't tweet and I didn't vote. Senator Sandack did.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 06:16 pm
If Brian is the puppet master than its safe to say Ron is the King Maker / Block Builder!

"Entrenched party power brokers" means who? Dillard? Radogno? Rutherford? Roger Claar? Bill Murphy?
http://downersgrove.patch.com/articles/former-mayor-announces-state-rep-run#photo-7651842 All present and in this picture. And by well funded by who? Arlington Race Track? Cigarette Companies? Springfield lobbyists? Chicago lawyers? Other politicians? All Sandack contributors. Something to think about.
Dan F. January 18, 2012 at 06:56 pm
The irony is Deborah L. "Debbie" Boyle is asking for the readers civility towards each other. Appointed Senator Sandack is absent on this issue.
Scott C. January 18, 2012 at 08:09 pm
Reading the comment as you appear to suggest, Dan, would lead one to believe that the only logical conclusion is that Ron must therefore not be in favor of civility. Smart.
Read another way, one might conclude that only Debbie Boyle supporters need reminding to be civil. Now, I'm not suggesting that's the case. I'm just suggesting that your implication is, in my opinion, a bit ridiculous/absurd. I noticed that other than her having sued in the past, Candidate Boyle is absent on the issue of suing school boards (requiring a taxpayer funded defense). Therefore, the only logical conclusion must be that she remains in favor of such frivolous lawsuits, right? Come on...
Lee January 18, 2012 at 08:33 pm
Paul C - You are a hack who spreads rumors and doesn't deal in facts. You think Ron supports Huntsman over a tweet. You're a joke.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 09:02 pm
You are a name caller unfortunately Lee and my guess is you would not like to TRY to dispute the voting record of Senator Sandack from his commissioner days to the present because you'd lose that one. Oh and by the way, I have several more tweets I can post from December dates that RS sent out on his support of Huntsman. Call me a hack but I'm a hack with facts and that upsets you. That's why you must name call. And I know a good place my size 12 would fit...ha ha
Lee January 18, 2012 at 11:30 pm
Sorry Paul C - 'm not name calling, I'm stating "fact"... Kinda like you.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 11:50 pm
Well here's another fact for you:JonHuntsman12Team Huntsman 2012
by RonSandack Recap of last night's Londonderry townhall in #fitn. RT @NBCFirstRead: What Jon Huntsman did instead of debate http://on.msnbc.com/sjkCSY Seems like Ron really liked Huntsman. Huntsman (read link) bashed Romney hard and then threw his support behind him after bowing out. Again, I didn't tweet this Ron did and if he wasn't in support of Huntsman why would he tweet this? Maybe just maybe Ron liked Huntsman because he like Huntsman is that liberal moderate Republican that his voting record suggests. The voters not you or I alone will decide this. They will be on display from now through March 20th and that I would not joke about. Call those records a hack but they are "fact" and one last thing people resort to name calling like you do when they know they cannot defeat "truth".
Lee January 18, 2012 at 11:56 pm
Fact - Ron Sandack is not, was not a Huntsman supporter. Fact.
PAUL C. January 18, 2012 at 11:57 pm
Ok Lee Sandack!
PAUL C. January 19, 2012 at 12:04 am
Fact - Debbie Boyle is DEFINITELY NOT and was NEVER a Huntsman supporter. This I know for sure!
Joseph Sharp January 19, 2012 at 03:20 am
My gosh I can't believe where this is going.....or that it's still going! Obviously, both sides are EXTREMELY passionate. I am having trouble following everything so I will comment only on things I have researched. This Deb Boyle lawsuit seems to be a sore spot. I have already stated my feelings on this. However, I have discovered that the school board hired an attorney for $7,000 to draw up a proposal against nepotism and ultimately shut Ms. Boyle out of her elected duties. Now if you are going to be fair about wasting taxpayer dollars defending the lawsuit then you must condemn the waste of $7,000 for a "we'll show her" type of attitude! Besides this lawsuit, I certainly don't feel like I know Deb Boyle enough where I can say I would or wouldn't vote for her. In saying that, I most definitely can say that I would not Not vote for her because of a lawsuit. Don't some communities bus their kids to other schools in " better" areas so they can have a better chance, etc? What is the difference? I know, you are going to say that she acts privileged. Who cares? She wanted her kid to go to a certain school for lineage reasons. The bused kids parents want their kids to go to a certain school for safety or better learning. What really is the difference? Like I said before, have an out of district fee for people like Ms. Boyle. If they want to pay it, then so be it! As for Senator Sandack, I am still researching so no comment until further notice.
Lee January 19, 2012 at 12:57 pm
Hi Joseph - I respect the fact she petitioned to have her kid go to North "the better school"... Once she was turned down is what I have a problem with. The privilege I speak of is her lawsuit challenging the ruling. I can't get my way so I'll SUE. That's sad to me... The lawyer being hired by the school board I think is fair game given Debbie's Boyle's past history of SUING when not getting her way. As I've mentioned in the past, I think Debbie Boyle wanting her kid to go to a better school is good thing, but that's not the point... I'm sure many, many others have been turned down for that, but Debbie Boyle was felt she was "entitled"... That and her subsequent lawsuit is why I question her judgment. I'll post her letter to the school board later so you can read her actual motivation... Hope this helps.

Paul C - Quick question - If Huntsman would have gotten the nomination, would you have been a supporter against Obama?
PAUL C. January 19, 2012 at 01:25 pm
Lee,
Huntsman getting nominated (elected is what happens when you win in the genral election) is and now was as likely as me putting a blindfold on and running across I -88 at 5pm and not getting hit or killed! I won't even answer a question that's likely hood is next to impossible! Are you 100% sure the Senator didn't like Huntsman the most of the then 6 contenders?
Lee January 19, 2012 at 02:48 pm
You're not a true Republican then if you can't answer that question Paul C.
PAUL C. January 19, 2012 at 03:09 pm
I am falling off my chair now in my office laughing Lee! The dumbest conservative candidate, Perry just dropped out and joins the most liberal republican Huntsman (2-4% backed joke candidate) on the sidelines! Perry's electability chances were on a downhill run after his brilliant mind was exposed in the debates. Huntsman (Ron's twitter buddy) never had over a 6% backing percentage. Also Lee, I voted for McCain not Obama. The Huntsman question is ridiculous (not you...because I am not a name caller) because it's not even a hypothetical possiability! One thing I do know is that a true Republican would never tweet about Huntsman. That is a fact because he was the first major liberal republican shown the door. The voters spoke Lee and the Liberal and Dumbo are watching from the sideline.

3:09 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 "Reading the comment as you appear to suggest, Dan, would lead one to believe that the only logical conclusion is that Ron must therefore not be in favor of civility. Smart." And accurate, judging by his supporters doing his bidding here. All of you are far too clever for me. Mention a positive about Boyle just to see rabid Sandack supporters tear into it and me? Oh, okay, one and done, just to prove a point. The handout I received last weekend said Ms. Boyle is an RN for 25 years, and that she works at Loyola as a manager there. Every Nurse is smart, polite, and dedicated to their service. Every single one without exception. They all know a lot about health care and health care costs. I asked the gentleman who came to my door what Boyles main issues were and he said budget, pension, medicaid and education. I asked him if Medicare wasn't a big budget issue. He said medicaid is over a third of the state budget. Read about the need for tort reform, how that is killing our health system. Not by itself, but part of the problem. Nurses are never part of that problem. A SHORTAGE of Nurses is often said to be part of the problem. A Nurse or a Lawyer? Nurse, and done. Vote for Boyle.
Lee January 21, 2012 at 03:18 am
Astute political observation Paul C. Thanks for the insight. Seriously.
PAUL C. January 21, 2012 at 03:30 am
I try hard to be as astute as you when I speak of the democratic process of elections. Get over yourself Lee! Huntsman is a no longer a candidate and you can deny that the Senator supported him. That's fine! I just hope Ron follows in his footsteps. Good night and I will not be responding any longer on this fun twitter subject. Believe what you want to but that voting record will become more and more important as March 20th approaches.

Fact - Ron Sandack hasn't endorse any Republican candidate. He was never a supporter of John Huntsman.
Debbie Boyle supports trial lawyers, rumor has it she supported John Edwards' campaign.

Conservatives - it’s not enough to just elect more Republicans; you need to elect better ones, as well. Time to get confrontational…in primaries!

The problem is the Dept of Agriculture's standards are aimed at farm animals. The standards are wayRead More too low for pet breeding but the USDA has not yet differentiated housepets. She is giving the standard boilerplate answer all puppy mill breeders give. The fact that she passed inspections doesn't mean a thing. Everyone knows the vet she has enlisted is a puppy mill breeder himself so that is an empty argument too. Blah, blah, blah - the same old answers. You've got a good smoke & mirrors show going Madam, but the public is starting to catch on.....
