Savers Hiring Fair Extended

The Savers thrift store chain coming to Downers Grove had a hiring fair last week, but is still looking to fill 30+ jobs. The hiring fair was extended and moved to the Embassy Suites Chicago Lombard at 707 East Butterfield Road in Lombard, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 14-18.

The new store, located at 2900 Highland Avenue in Downers Grove, will provide local shoppers with great bargains on quality secondhand merchandise while benefitting the Friends of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. Another Savers location will open in Naperville, IL in May.

Interested applicants need to apply in person. Open positions are available for individuals with customer service and sales experience, and also to applicants seeking entry-level retail positions. Employment opportunities include both back room store production positions and sales floor roles, in both part and full-time.
