ABC-7 Morning Show to Feature Downers Grove North
Trojan students will appear on the show's "Friday Flyover" segment Friday, Nov. 8.
Set your DVRs, folks. Downers Grove North High School will be featured on the Friday Flyover segment of ABC Chicago 7 News this Friday, Nov. 8.
Students will gather outside at Carsten’s Stadium for a pep rally at 5:40 a.m., and the ABC chopper will “fly over” the field and students between approximately 6:15 to 6:50 a.m., according to a release from District 99.
“We are excited that ABC has selected us to be featured, giving us the chance to highlight all of the athletics, activities and school spirit at North High,” said Principal Scott Kasik, who will be interviewed by news anchors throughout the morning show.

Neighbors should receive a letter from Kasik, to inform them of the helicopter's presence.
The DG North High football team shut out Whitney Young last Friday in first round 7A playoff action, and will move on to face Wheaton Warrenville South at Wheaton Warrenville South at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
