District 58 Sixth Graders Ring Bells for Salvation Army Saturday
Belle Aire sixth-graders and their family will volunteer as bell ringers Saturday, Dec. 14.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Belle Aire sixth-graders and their families will be guest bell ringers for the Salvation Army outside of Fry’s Electronics, 3300 Finley Road.
Earlier this month the students read and discussed a story called “Bell Ringers,” which was about people donating their time to ring the bell and collect money. A parent of one of the students in the class called the Salvation Army to see if it was possible to have the students come and volunteer their time, and they said yes!
