Kevin Jonas Pops into Downers Grove, Supports Local Charity

The pop singer strolled into Downers Grove this week, and shared this photo from inside Style Studio.

Nope, you weren't seeing things.

One of the singing siblings of Jonas Brothers really was in downtown Downers Grove this week.

Kevin Jonas stopped into Style Studio and snapped this photo with a pillow sold to support Noah's Hope, an organization founded by the VanHoutan family of Downers Grove. He shared the photo on his channel of celebrity-driven website Whosay.com.

Jennifer and Tracy VanHoutan founded the organization after their children, Noah and Laine, were diagnosed with Batten Disease—an extremely rare, degenerative genetic disease.

The disease has taken the children's speech, balance, and mobility. Batten disease is terminal between the ages of 8 and 12.

"Noah and Laine will be forever simple and sweet," reads a passage on the organization's website. "They will never see the complications of life. They will never have their hearts broken. They will never see their own kids get sick. And they are, and always will be, an inspiration for the countless volunteers who are working with us to fight LINCL-Batten disease."
