Downers Grove Fire Department Treats Public Works to Lunch
Downers Grove Public Works crew have been working 'round the clock since Dec. 31, 2013. The guys behind the hoses showed the ones behind the plows a little love—and a hot lunch.
Members of the Downers Grove Fire Department treated colleagues from Public Works on their lunch break to a hot, homemade meal Tuesday, according to the Village of Downers Grove Facebook page.
Public Works crews have been in constant 24-hour operations, working 12-hour shifts since December 31, 2013.
"Gotta love it!" the village wrote.
