Midwestern University’s College of Health Sciences Celebrates Graduations

Midwestern University recently held a commencement ceremony on the Downers Grove Campus to celebrate the start of a variety of healthcare careers for the graduates. The College of Health Sciences marked the end of summer with graduation ceremonies for students in the Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Clinical Psychology programs.

“Today we are celebrating some wonderful accomplishments,” said Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of the University, during her address to the graduates, their families, and their friends. Dr. Goeppinger also noted the significant accomplishment achieved by all the graduates in earning their degrees after several years of intensive studies.

Graduate Maddie E. Barron, who received a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology degree, also addressed her fellow classmates and spoke of their rigorous course of studies to become health professionals. “As we reflect on our time here at Midwestern, I think each one of us would agree that it has been quite a journey,” she said.
