Downers Grove Downtown Management Corporation Announces Gingerbread Contest Winners
Six winners were named in the corporation's fourth annual Gingerbread Contest out of 23 participants.
Six winners have been named in the Downers Grove Downtown Management Corporation's fourth annual Gingerbread Contest.
Voting for the contest was held during the corporation's Gingerbread Festival, held Nov. 23-25 in downtown Downers Grove. More than 600 votes were cast, officials said.
Of the contest's 23 participants, Viewers' Choice and Elves' Choice winners were named in three categories: Family/Individual/Children, Professional and Culinary Student. The winners each received $50 in downtown Downers Grove gift certificates.

All gingerbread houses will remain on display through Saturday, Dec. 22. A list of locations can be found at www.downtowndg.org.
