Somehow in our history football has become synonymous with Thanksgiving. And starting at 11:30 a.m. today and going into the night, pigskins will be flying in four games, both pro and college.
- 11:30 a.m.: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions on FOX,
- 3 p.m.: Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys on CBS,
- 7 p.m.: Texas at Texas A&M on ESPN and
- 7:30 p.m.: San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens on the NFL Network.

Make sure you have plenty of stuffing on hand today. Stuffing was overwhelmingly cited as the favorite side dish in Monday's Sixty percent of those who responded to the poll favor stuffing. Mashed potatoes were second with 18 percent; followed by cranberry sauce, 12 percent and green beans, 2 percent. Five percent answered other. Some of the choices were strawberry jelly mold and apple-cranberry relish.
They've sold out a stadium since 1960 (all while being by far in the smallest TV market), have had a massive season ticket waiting list that gets passed down from generation to generation, they're the only community owned team in any major sports league, and they constantly draw ~60,000 for a preseason intra squad scrimmage. All of that screams fair weather fans to me. 11-0!
