Garbage Can Stolen

A garbage can was reported stolen Nov. 11 in the 3900 block of Williams St. in Downers Grove. The homeowner said she noticed the can was by the curb around 7 o'clock p.m., but noticed it missing an hour later.

Theft of Backhoe at Shell

A theft of a backhoe occurred at the Shell gas station, 2212 Ogden Ave., Downers Grove. The backhoe was left there Nov. 8 but the theft was noticed on Nov. 11 when an employee came to pick it up on a trailer and it was missing. The fence surrounding the property was reportedly down.

SUNDAY, Nov. 10

Phone Lost at Home Depot

A woman thinks she left her phone on the counter Nov. 10 at Home Depot, 2000 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove. She returned to her car and realized her phone wasn't syncing with her car, but when she returned to Home Depot and asked the clerk, they had not seen the phone.
