Denburn Woods Burglary Suspect Arraigned, Charged

Suspect charged with felony class burglary.

The suspect in the Denburn Woods burglaries from late July was arraigned in court Monday, Aug. 29, and charged with one count of class two felony burglary.

Andrew Walczak, 19, of 1443 Maple Avenue, pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from the burglaries, which spurred a manhunt that included numerous government agencies.

The class two felony charge carries a potential sentence of 3 to 7 years in prison. Walczak is due in court again on October 4.

Walczak is still in custody.
