MONDAY, SEPT. 17

Damaged Slides at Hillcrest School

A plastic double-slide was damaged at Hillcrest School, 1435 Jefferson Ave., sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 17, police said. The lower portions of both slides were cracked, apparently by someone jumping on them or throwing a heavy object.

Public Urination at Hummer Park

Troy A. McJimsey, 49, of the 5100 block of Fairview Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 12:10 p.m. at Hummer Park, 4833 Fairview Ave., police said. Police said a park district employee found McJimsey urinating in a pavilion. McJimsey was charged with disorderly conduct/urinating in public.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 16

Driving Under the Influence

Stanislawa Zarycka, of the 10600 block of 81st Avenue in Palos Hills, was arrested around 12:40 a.m. in the 7300 block of Lemont Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was issued an Oct. 24 court date.

Car Burglary on Davane Court

Police officers noticed a truck that had been burglarized in the 6300 block of Davane Court around 4:05 a.m. The rear driver's side window was broken and one of the doors was ajar, police said. No items were reported missing.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 15

Driving Under the Influence

Kimberly M. Henderson, of the 2200 block of Prentiss Drive in Downers Grove, was arrested around1:14 a.m. near Prentiss and Woodward, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was issued an Oct. 24 court date.

Car Burglary on Maple Avenue

A car was burglarized overnight in the 600 block of Maple Avenue, police said. A wallet containing credit cards, debit cards and a driver's license was reported missing.

Car Burglary on Wilcox Avenue

A car was burglarized overnight in the 5000 block of Wilcox Avenue, police said. Approximately $3 in change was stolen from the center console, according to the report.

Stolen License Plate

The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7300 block of Lemont Road, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 14

Window Broken by Beer Can

A Miller beer can was thrown at the front window of a home in the 800 block of Rogers sometime between 11 p.m. and 11:10 p.m., police said. The outer pane of glass was broken.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 12

Stolen Bike

A green mountain bicycle was stolen overnight from a home in the 6800 block of Penner Avenue, police said.
