Drug Bust Near Main Street Station, DUI Arrests: Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13
Drug Possession
Kelly L. Jackson, 28, of the 14500 block of Archer Avenue in Lockport, was arrested around 5:45 a.m. near Main Street and Burlington Avenue, police said.
After pulling Jackson over for expired registration, police discovered a clear, plastic baggy with a white, powdery substance inside, according to reports. The substance was not named in the report, but police said it was consistent with a controlled substance.

Jackson was then placed under arrest and taken to the Downers Grove police station, where police discovered a hypodermic needle with partially clear and red fluid inside, according to reports.
Jackson was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also cited for expired registration adn driving with a suspended license, police said.

DUI
Brian R. Goc, 44, of the 200 block of Park Street in Westmont, was arrested around 12:29 a.m. near Main Street and Maple Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was issued a March 20 court date.
MONDAY, FEB. 11
DUI
Carlos Valadez, 40, of the 2600 block of Maple Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 1:37 p.m. near Walnut and Maple avenues, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and aggravated driving with a revoked license. He was issued a March 20 court date.
