Downers Grove Police reports, May 14-16

SUNDAY, MAY 19

DUI, Improper Lane Usage

Kim A. Emanuel, of the 4700 block of Puffer Road, Downers Grove, was arrested at 3:57 a.m. at 75th and Main streets. Emanuel was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08 and improper lane usage. Her green Ford Windstar was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 12 court date in Wheaton.

DUI, Expired License

Eric A. Garcia, of the 100 block of Amberleigh Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:50 a.m. on the 2400 block of Durand. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with an expired driver's license. His red Ford Explorer was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Garcia was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.

DUI, Uninsured Vehicle

Javier Salgado, of the 3100 block of South 53rd Court, Cicero, was arrested at 12:38 a.m. at Butterfield Road and Highland Avenue. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol 
  • Improper lane usage
  • Improper turn
  • Disobeyed traffic signal
  • Operating an uninsured vehicle

His black Chevrolet Trailblazer was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.

Aggravated DUI

William K. Justis, of the 100 block of River Run Court, Oswego, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. on Ogden Avenue at Lacey. Justis was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol while suspended for driving under the influence, improper lane usage and obstructing a peace officer. His black Chevy Equinox was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was transported to the DuPage County Jail and was later released. He has a July 3 court date in Wheaton.

FRIDAY, MAY 17

DUI, Improper Lane Use

Jeanne L. Heiden, of the 400 block of Beechwood Drive, Westmont, was arrested at 1:37 a.m. at Brookside and 63rd Street in Westmont. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Her silver Acura was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Heiden was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

DUI, Minor With Alcohol

Krystal M. Loy, of the 1300 block of 55th Street, Downers Grove, was arrested at 5:34 a.m. at 55th and Summit streets. Loy was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and speeding. Her green Volkswagen Jetta was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has a June 19 court date in Wheaton.

SATURDAY, MAY 11

DUI, Speeding

Brian M. Paleczny, of the 2200 block of Grove, Berwyn, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Ogden Avenue at I-355. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol 
  • Improper lane usage
  • Failure to signal
  • Speeding

His blue BMW 323I was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released after posting $100 bond and his driver's license. He has a June 12 court date in Wheaton.
