Downers Grove police reports, March 8-10

SUNDAY, MARCH 10

Criminal Damage

A man at 2 p.m. on the 3900 block of Saratoga Avenue said someone damaged the right rear door of his vehicle. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. March 8 and 1:30 p.m. March 10 while it was in his apartment complex parking lot this weekend. He parked his silver 2011 Volkswagen Jetta in different spots this weekend, so he is unsure in which parking spot the damage occurred. "The damage appears to be a tiny scratch caused by another vehicle's door," said the report for this incident. The man does not want an investigation, just the report on file.

They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
