Downers Grove police reports, June 19-25

TUESDAY, JUNE 25

Burglary From Motor Vehicle

Someone broke the front passenger window of a vehicle and took a wallet inside on the 700 block of 59th Street. The incident occurred sometime between 6 a.m. and 6:50 a.m. in a parking lot, according to police. The $20 leather wallet contained a driver's license and was next to the parking brake handle on the center console, according to police. Damage to the vehicle's window was estimated at $300.

DUI, Disobeying Traffic Control Device

Fernando Ibarra, 28, of the 1200 block of East 13th Street, Lombard, was arrested at 2:34 a.m. at Main Street and Curtiss. Ibarra was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08 and disobeying a traffic control device. His black Acura Cl was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on an I-bond and has a July 31 court date in Wheaton.


SATURDAY, JUNE 22

DUI, Improper Turn

Lauren M. Taylor, 26, of the 1500 block of Whitman Lane, Wheaton, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. at Highland Avenue and Frontage Road. Taylor was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and making an improper turn. Her blue Jeep Liberty was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has a July 31 court date in Wheaton.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19

DUI Drugs

Michael B. Devaney, 51, of the 4200 block of Saratoga Street, Downers Grove, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ogden Avenue. Devaney was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper lane usage and driving without lights when required. His black Chevy Trailblazer was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a July 24 court date in Wheaton.
