Car Burglary on Ticonderoga

A car was burglarized overnight in the 7200 block of Ticonderoga Place, police said. A black wallet valued at $5 was stolen, along with a credit card and two points cards.

Car Burglary on Barclay Court

A car was burglarized overnight in the 6500 block of Barclay Court, police said. A bag of medical samples was stolen from the front seat, along with a $400 Burberry wallet containing a driver's license, numerous credit cards and $40 cash. Police said the complainant did not lock her car doors.

Car Burglary on Midhurst Road

A car was burglarized in the 2200 block of Midhurst Road between Monday, Aug. 13, and Wednesday, Aug. 15, police said. The victim said he used his wallet the morning of Aug. 13, but did not need it again for two days. On Aug. 15, he discovered both his wallet and an I-Pass transponder were missing from the vehicle's center console.

Sign Stolen at 4C Realty Company

A 6-foot, white wooden sign for 4C Realty Cimpany was stolen from a home in the 5100 block of Grand Avenue around noon on Aug. 15, police said. The sign was seen again at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.

SATURDAY, AUG. 11

DUI on Lyman Avenue

Amparo A. Herrera, 25, of the 3000 block of S. 49th Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 2:48 a.m. in the 5400 block of Lyman Avenue, police said. Herrera was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and no insurance.
