Police said they observed "suspicious vehicles" in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant, prompting them to confront the drivers. As police approached, they detected a "strong odor" of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, the report states.

Police recovered drug equipment from the car, the report states.

Hoff, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

A car driven by Laman was pulled over after an officer observed him rolling through a stop sign, the report states. When the officer approached, he detected a strong smell of marijuana, police said.

While searching the vehicle, police found a one-quart plastic bag filled with marijuana in the glove box, the report states.

Police were notified around 3:55 p.m. that an individual had crawled across 2nd Street and was laying in the parkway, the report states. When the officer arrived, he found the man—identified as Deland—sprawled across the grass next to a park, unable to sit up, according to the report.

David M. Deland a 53 year old bum passed out on hydrocodone at 4 in the afternoon. Just laying in a park. I wonder who paid for his visit to Good Samaritan? The Village needs to do something about this bum problem. I don't see this many bums in other towns I frequent. It's not even safe to got to certain parks in the Village anymore.
