DuPage DUI Arrests, Oct. 13 Edition

DARIEN

SEPT. 7: Aurelio Carmona, 32, of the 8800 block of South Kolin Avenue in Hometown, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. near Cass Avenue and Sleepy Hollow.

DOWNERS GROVE

Oct. 3: Tristyn L. Healey, of the 1800 block of Grant, Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:24 a.m. at Grant and Lee. Healey was charged with DUI alcohol, improper display of plates and driver's license expired less than a year. His blue Honda Civic was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on an I-bond and has a Nov. 13 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 28: Jordan R. Munk, of the 4000 block of Glendenning, Downers Grove, was arrested at 5:14 p.m. at Highland Avenue and 31st Street. Munk was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. His silver Oldsmobile Aurora was towed from the scene to an impound lot. Munk was released after posting $100 and his driver's license, according to a police report. He has an Oct. 30 court date in Wheaton.

ELMHURST

Oct. 5: John Carbonara, 58, of the 600 block of South Riverside, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis after police pulled over his white Ford Econoline for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Route 83 at 12:52 a.m. He was released on bond.

Oct. 4: Terrance Patton, 29, of the 5000 block of West Gladys, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Buick Regal for failure to yield at Third and Addison at 12:29 a.m. He was released on bond. A passenger in the vehicle, Edward Nolan, 27, 906 S. Clyde, Chicago, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and released on bond.

Sept. 28:

• Tatiana J. Cole, 29, of the 2300 block of Century Point Lane, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and improper parking on a roadway after police responded for a medic assist at Vallette and Poplar at 5:05 a.m. She was released on bond.
• Enrique Alverez, 27, of the 600 block of Lake Manor, Addison, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Chevrolet Impala for improper lane use at North and York at 1:55 a.m. He was released on bond.

Sept. 27: Philip Asselborn, 70, of the 700 block of Poplar, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Ford Taurus for improper lane use and failure to signal at Butterfield and Cedar at 12:47 a.m. He was released on bond.

Sept. 23: Justin Peacock, 25, of the 700 block of South Spring Road, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Volkswagen Jetta for improper lane use and squealing of tires at York and Crescent at 1:07 a.m. He was released on bond.

Sept. 21:

• Enox T. Clay, 32, of the 6700 block of 21st Street, Berwyn, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his tan Jeep Cherokee for driving without headlights and improper lane use at York and Butterfield roads at 3:46 a.m. He was released on bond.
• Amanda Yaeger, 27, of the 200 block of North Oaklawn, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her white Toyota Celica for speeding at North Avenue and Highland at 2:26 a.m. She was released on bond.
  

Sept. 20: Justin Rich, 21, of the 100 block of Geneva Road, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Honda Civic for expired registration at Third and Geneva Road at 1:24 a.m. He was released on bond.

Sept. 15: Enrique Dominguez, 49, of the 16900 block of Sandy Lane, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without a license after police pulled over his black Chevrolet Avalanche for speeding, improper lane use and one headlight at Poplar and St. Charles Road at 2:28 a.m. He was released on bond.

GLEN ELLYN

Sept. 15: Daniel Herrera, 27, of the 8900 block of Route 34, Yorkville, was charged with the following:

• Aggravated DUI
• Driving while license suspended
  
• Improper lane usage
  

Herrera was arrested at 4 a.m. at Pershing and Roosevelt Road, according to police. He will be transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE, once he is released from the DuPage County Jail, according to jail records.

LISLE

Oct. 9: Abad Maria-Navarrette, 38, of the 4900 block of Keller, Lisle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Maria-Navarrette was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on the 4600 block of Old Tavern Road as a result of a traffic stop conducted by a Lisle police officer. He was also cited for no valid driver's license and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to police.

Maria-Navarrette was transported to the Lisle Police Department where he was processed according to policy. He was later released pending a court hearing.

Oct. 2: Brandon W. Popko, 32, of the 100 block of Vista, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Popko was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek Road as a result of a traffic stop conducted by a Lisle police officer.

Popko was also cited for driving while license revoked. He was processed at the Lisle Police Department and released pending a court hearing.

Sept. 28: Oswaldo Estrada-Loredo, 42, of the 4300 block of Azalea, Lisle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Estrada-Loredo was arrested at 12:40 a.m. on the 2200 block of Dogwood Drive as a result of a traffic stop conducted by a Lisle police officer.

Estrada-Loredo was also cited for the following:

• No valid driver's license
• Speeding
• Operation of an uninsured motor vehicle

He was processed at the Lisle Police Department and released pending a court hearing.

Sept. 25: Kevin P. Carlson, 21, of the 8800 block of Patrick Court, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Carlson was arrested at 9:22 p.m. on the 5800 block of Eastlake Drive as a result of an accident investigation conducted by a Lisle police officer.

Carlson was also cited for the following:

• Driving too fast for conditions
• Leaving the scene of an accident
• Failure to give aid or information following an accident

Carlson was processed at the Lisle Police Department and released pending a court hearing.

Sept. 22: Sai K. Ivaturi, 33, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek Road, Lisle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Ivaturi was arrested at 11:30 p.m. at Ogden and Indiana avenues as a result of a traffic stop conducted by a Lisle police officer.

Ivaturi was processed at the Lisle Police Department and was released pending a court hearing.

Sept. 17: Robert L. Perbix, 47, of the 11100 block of Shelley Street, Westchester, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Perbix was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on the 3000 block of Ogden Avenue as a result of a traffic stop conducted by a Lisle police officer. He was also cited for improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to police.

Perbix was transported to the Lisle Police Department where he was processed according to policy. He was later released pending a court hearing.

Sept. 15: Alissa J. Kratz, 30, of the 7600 block of Woodridge Drive, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Kratz was arrested at 5:58 p.m. at Ogden and Yackley avenues as a result of an investigation into a property damage accident. She was also cited for driving too fast for conditions, according to police.

Kratz was transported to the Lisle Police Department where she was processed according to policy. She was later released pending a court hearing.

LEMONT

Oct. 4: Cory B. Robinson, 42, of the 400 block of Lemont Street, Lemont, was arrested at 11 p.m. following an incident on the 200 block of Cass Street. He was charged with the following:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol
• Driving while license revoked
  
• Leaving the scene of an accident
  
• Obstructing a police officer
  
• Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
  

Robinson was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Sept. 23: Elizabeth R. Capra, 24, of the 11 South 400 block of Downers Drive, Lemont, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. following an incident on the 300 block of Lemont Street. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. Capra was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

NAPERVILLE

Oct. 8: Shannon Margerit Reed, 24, of Naperville, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Quincy Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond.

WHEATON

Aug. 30:

• Lukas A. Cerny, 21, of the 10S200 block of Skyline, Burr Ridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and hit and run. Cerny was arrested at 6:23 p.m. at Warrenville Avenue and Shaffner Road, according to a police report. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that evening.
• Police charged James D. Brooks, 48, of the 1800 block of Somerset Lane, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Brooks was driving a blue 2004 Acura MDX at 2:49 a.m. at Naperville and Butterfield roads when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
  

Aug. 26: Police charged Matthew J. Fluhr, 25, of the 500 block of Timber Trail, Carol Stream, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Fluhr was driving a silver or aluminum 2011 Subaru Legacy at 12:22 a.m. at Hale and Front Street when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

WOODRIDGE

Sept. 21: Dean Mersch, 54, of the first block of Brookshire Court in Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic accident at 11:22 p.m. on the 7800 block of Route 53.
