FBI Investigating Bank Robbery at TCF Bank Inside Woodridge Jewel-Osco

The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to FBI Chicago.

A bank robbery took place Wednesday shortly after 11 a.m. at TCF Bank, 2317 W. 75th St., in Woodridge, according to FBI Chicago. 

A man holding a bandana to his face approached the teller, announced a robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He did not show a weapon.

FBI Chicago describes the robber as a black man in his mid-twenties with a medium build and a height of 5'10" to 6'. He was wearing a dark hoodie and baseball hat.

The bank is located inside Woodridge's Jewel-Osco. 

Readers reported that some Woodridge School District 68 schools were on "soft lockdown" following the incident.
