Glen Ellyn Woman Nabbed for Retail Theft at Kohl's: Cops
Diane Hale was caught taking four shirts and other store merchandise totaling about $130 without paying for them, according to a Downers Grove police report.
A Glen Ellyn woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly taking off without paying for clothing and other items from Kohl's, according to police reports.
Diane Hale, of the 500 block of Pershing Avenue in Glen Ellyn, was charged with retail theft for stealing about $130 worth of merchandise from the retail outlet at 2920 Finley Road, Downers Grove police report.
Store loss prevention agents saw Hale take four shirts, a pair of slippers and a pair of flip flops into a dressing room, where she allegedly hid the items on her person, before exiting the room, the report stated. The agents detained her as she tried to leave the store without paying, the report added.
