Car Burglary on Butterfield Road
A vehicle was burglarized in the 2000 block of Butterfield Road sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., police said. Several tools were stolen, including a planer, cordless drills, straight shear, framing guns, a hammer drill and two sawzalls.
SUNDAY, JAN. 27
A home in the 4700 block of Elm Street was burglarized sometime between Jan. 16 and Jan. 27, police said.
The owners' son noticed a forced entry through the basement, and later discovered that the master bedroom on the main floor had been ransacked, police said.
Silver coins worth $1,000 were stolen, along with a $500 jade necklace and a $100 silver medallion, police said.
SATURDAY, JAN. 26
Car Burglary on Opus Place
A vehicle trailer was burglarized overnight at a hotel in the 1500 block of Opus Place, police said. A tool box and several tools were reported stolen, including locks, drills, saws and a plastic tote with miscellaneous hardware.
MONDAY, JAN. 21
Stolen Construction Materials
Construction materials were stolen from the 4000 block of Sterling Road sometime between 2 p.m. on Jan. 20 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 21, police said. A skylight, roofing flashing and ladder were reported missing.
Four concrete warming blankets were also stolen Dec. 11, police said.
