Man Caught Allegedly Masturbating in Lincoln Center Lot

Disorderly Conduct, retail theft among reports.

The following incidents and arrests were reported by the Downers Grove Police Department:

Disorderly Conduct

[Name withheld], 24, was charged with Disorderly Conduct after allegedly masturbating in the Lincoln Center parking lot on March 22. The complainant told police she was parked next to [Withheld] and when she went to her car she observed [Withheld] with his hand down his pants making a motion that would be consistent with masturbation. The complainant put her kids in the car and [Withheld] was still masturbating until she made eye contact with him. The complainant said the masturbation lasted for about four minutes. A felony charge was rejected by the Assistant State's Attorney.

A customer and business owner got into a verbal argument on March 22 at Music Masters on Main Street over which album a specific Queen song was on, and the argument led to each man yelling profanities at each other and the customer being instructed by police to not return to the business after the customer left and subsequently called the business repeatedly.

Retail Theft

Zachary Burrell, 19 of 7363 Grand Ave in Downers Grove, and a 17-year-old juvenile female were charged with Retail Theft on March 23 after attempting to leave Marshalls on 75th without paying for various items.

Roxana Stachura, 55 of 6089 Brookline in Lisle, was charged with Retail Theft on March 23 after attempting to leave Kohl's on Finley without paying for various items.

Carol Griffiths, 44 of Feasterville, PA, was charged with Retail Theft on March 22 after attempting to leave Kohl's on Finley without paying for various items.

Brian Haddad, 23 of 210 W. 17th in Lombard, was charged with Retail Theft on March 24 after attempting to leave Fry's Electronics on Finley without paying for a cellphone case.

Drinking in Public

Robert Okonski, 51 of 705 Liberty Ave in Wheaton, and Cecil Downs, 47 of the same address, were charged with Drinking on Public Property after officers found the two men yelling and screaming at each other at the Fairview Depot on March 23.

Theft Over $500

A customers wallet was removed from her coat pocket while she was shopping in Best Buy on Butterfield March 8. The wallet and its contents—including $1,250 in cash—were valued at $1,375.

Criminal Trespass to Residence

Edward Colon, 47 of 1112 Florence Avenue in Westmont, was charged with Criminal Trespass to Real Property on March 21 after being found extremely intoxicated and laying in the parkway of a residence in the 900 block of Curtiss Colon was previously given a trespass warning on.

Theft Under $500

A portable basketball hoop valued at $200 was stolen from the parkway of a residence in the 600 block of Summit on March 19.
