WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

Door Window Broken

A $100 lower window on the back door of a house was broken on the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to a police report. The man who reported the incident didn't know how the window broke because he didn't find anything inside or out of the home that could have broke it. The house was still secured and no entry was gained, the report said.

Man Caught Stealing Lil Wayne CD

Kody Lee Fitzwilliam, 25, of the 17100 block of Sterling Court, Lockport, was charged with retail theft. Fitzwilliam was spotted taking a Lil Wayne CD from its case and placing it in his back left pants pocket in a store on the 3300 block of Finley Road, according to a police report. 

After Fitzwilliam passed the last point of payment and left the store, he was detained and police were dispatched at 7:40 p.m. The $14.99 CD, Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being II, was recovered from Fitzwilliam. He was taken into custody, charged and released on an I-bond with a pending court date.

Stolen Bicycle

Someone took a magenta 2010 Eastern BMX-style bike with tan handlebars near the Main Street train depot on the 1000 block of Burlington Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The owner said he hid the $300 bicycle in some bushes on the south side of the train depot, but did not lock it to anything, according to police. When he returned to the area after his class, the bike was gone.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Someone broke into a vehicle and took a $100 black Coach messenger-style bag on the 5500 block of Fairview Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. At 4:45 p.m. the owner came back to the vehicle to find the front passenger-side window shattered.
