Police: One Arrested Following Argument Between Taxi Drivers

Police were called to 1001 Warren Avenue following a report of a argument between two taxi drivers.

When police arrived on Feb. 1, the taxi drivers were sitting in separate taxi cabs.

One of the drivers told police the other driver, William Handlon, had entered his vehicle uninvited with a flashlight and began yelling at him about a work-related incident that occurred on Jan. 31, according to a Downers Grove Police Department report.

The cab driver told police Handlon, 46, of West Dundee, was yelling at him and told him to "get out of the vehicle so they can settle the matter like men." The cab driver called 911 and reported the incident because he was alarmed and disturbed, according to the report.

Police took Handlon into custody and charged him with disorderly conduct.
