Vandals Strike Second Time At Car Dealership, Cops Say

Someone tossed cement-filled bucket through the windows of two Chevy Impalas.


For the second time in a month, vandals damaged cars at Allure Motors at 1406 Ogden Ave., reports said.

An employee told police that he left the dealership at 8:30 p.m. March 28. When he returned the next morning around 8:25 a.m., he noticed that someone threw a cement filled bucket through the rear window of a red Chevrolet Impala in the parking lot.

A second car was also damaged, with the same bucket tossed through the windshield of white Chevy Impala.

The employee said the thing happened on March 6. According to the employee, he doesn’t have any problems with anyone of the surrounding businesses.

Police said the white bucket was similar to the those used as parking dividers. The dealership said it would press charges if the perp is caught.
