Vehicle Vandalism, Drug Equipment: Police Blotter

MONDAY, APRIL 1

DUI

Tiffany L. Gann, 32, of the 1500 block of Almond Court, Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. at Highland Avenue and Butterfield Road. Gann was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, open alcohol and failure to signal. Her silver Hyundai Sonata was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has a May 1 court date in Wheaton.

$1,160 in Electronics Taken from Trailblazer

A man's $800 Dell laptop and $200 iPhone 3G went missing after he forgot to lock and secure his vehicle. The man parked his car in his driveway on the 5100 block of Forest Avenue at about noon on March 24. He discovered the items gone at 6:45 a.m. on this day. A $120 1TB Seagate hard drive, a $40 4GB micro SD card and a $40 laptop bag were also taken.

Windshield Busted

Someone used a rock to break the rear windshield of a green 1999 Saturn on the 4800 block of Lee Avenue. The incident took place between 8:38 p.m. and 9:39 p.m. on this day. The owner wants restitution for the window damages, which were estimated at $400.

Drug Equipment Possession

Miranda L. Rosenbrock, 19, of the 900 block of East St. Charles Road, Lombard, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid driver's license. She was arrested at 4:06 p.m. on the 1300 block of Butterfield Road after police ran a registration check on her red 1999 Oldsmobile Ciera and saw the registered owner had an invalid driver's license. After some questioning, police searched the car and located a glass pipe in the center console with suspected cannabis residue in it. Rosenbrock was transported to the Downers Grove Police Department for processing. Her court date was not set at the time of the report.
