Wallets, A/C Unit Stolen

A warrant arrest rounds out the police reports this week.

The following incidents and arrests were reported by the Downers Grove Police Department:


Burglary From Motor Vehicle

An unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 4100 block of Douglas Road was broken into and a wallet was stolen overnight on November 23. The estimated value of the wallet and its contents is $617.

The front passenger window of a car parked in the XSport Fitness lot on Finley on November 27 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. was broken into and a purse was stolen. The damage to the window is estimated at $300 and the value of the purse and its contents is estimated at $82.

Fugitive From Justice

Twenty-five-year-old Patrick Dill of 639 55th Street in Downers Grove was arrested on November 24 and transported to DuPage County Jail for an outstanding warrant from the state of Indiana after a DGPD officer spotted a vehicle being driven by Dill.

Theft Over $500

An outside A/C unit was stolen from a property in the 5500 block of Cumnor Road sometime between July and late November.
