Boyle Takes On Political Establishment

At a time when Illinois’ economy ranks among the worst in the nation, bad policy championed by Springfield Democrats is running one of the state’s biggest employers out of town and is forcing another to downsize – Sears Holdings announced 100 layoffs just last week, even as Caterpillar sent the equivalent of a “Dear John” letter to Peoria County informing them that it would not be building it’s new plant in Illinois.

Deb Boyle is the conservative Republican candidate challenging the status quo and holding Springfield accountable for the economic devastation caused by their bad policies and political scams. “The fact that Illinois is hemorrhaging jobs is painful to hear, but certainly predictable considering the bad fiscal policies we’ve seen coming from Springfield. Democrats in the General Assembly have created a hostile business environment for businesses large and small, and the Republicans in Springfield have been complicit with their silence,” stated Deb Boyle, Republican Candidate for State Representative in the 81st district.

According to the Illinois Policy Institute, Illinois ranks 48th in employment growth from 1999-2008, ranking ahead of only Michigan and Ohio. When you consider all that Illinois has to offer – resources, location, expansive farmland, and first-class towns and cities – Illinois should be a leading economic powerhouse in the United States (1).
