District 58 Candidates Respond to Questions

Candidates offer answers at March 16 League of Women Voters forum.

Three out of the four candidates for the Downers Grove Grade School District 58 school board answered 13 questions at the March 16 League of Women Voters forum.

Incumbent John Miller and challengers Rose LaRue-Slater and Doug Purcell participated in the forum. Incumbent Elizabeth Davis, a nurse, was not in attendance due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, but submitted her answers to the questions after the fact.

Below you'll find the opening statements and 13 questions asked of the candidates. Click on each question to see the candidates' answers. The questions are listed in the order they were asked, and the responses are listed in the order they were given. Closing comments were omitted due to their repetitive nature.
