Downers Grove Mayor to Present 'State of the Village' Tuesday

Mayor Martin Tully will present the annual "State of the Village" report during the regular council meeting at Village Hall on Tuesday night.

Downers Grove Mayor Martin Tully is scheduled to deliver his second State of the Village report during the regular council meeting Tuesday night.

Tully's address will be presented during the "Mayor's Report" section of the meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave.

The presentation will be broadcast live on DGTV (Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99). It will also be available Wednesday on the village's YouTube channel.

Also on the agenda Tuesday are two resolutions authorizing grant agreements for Ogden Avenue business upgrades.

The council will also hear a first reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2013 zoning map, and an ordinance to allow the construction of a chapel at Midwestern University.
