Downers Grove Offers Online Commenting for Meeting Agendas

Downers Grove residents seeking to have their voice heard now have another way to reach out.
The Village of Downers Grove now offers "rEmarks"—a tool designed to improve access to local government by making it easy for all residents to participate in a public forum.
Here's how it works:
Public input on rEmarks opens on the Friday before a Village Council meeting and is available until noon on the day of the meeting. Commenters must provide their name and address. Comments will then be forwarded to the Village Council prior to the meeting and published on the Village's website.
