DG Township Mails Senior Community Needs Survey

Survey will help identify Senior needs and concerns.

Jan. 22, 2012- Downers Grove Township is mailing the latest edition of "Banner News" to all Senior Citizens of Downers Grove Township this week. The "Banner News" mailer has been newly redesigned and features an easier to read format for Seniors.

Included in the "Banner News" is a Community Needs Survey. Township Senior Services Coordinator Hanna Benioff, host of “Vintage Times” on your local cable channel, asks all Seniors Citizens to fill out the survey so the Township can more accurately assess Senior needs and concerns. The Community Needs Survey will also help planning for the upcoming restart of SALT, an effort of the Township, and local police and fire departments to assist, educate, and protect Seniors living in Downers Grove Township.

Please look for this mailer, and please take a few minutes to fill it out. It can be returned to the Township by mail, or by dropping them off at the offices located at 4340 Prince Street,
Downers Grove, IL 60515. If you know a Senior neighbor, please ask them if they received the mailer, and if needed, please help them fill out and return the Community Needs Survey.
