Comprehensive Plan Committee Meeting

Comprehensive plans offer guidance on a wide range of issues including economic development, infrastructure, recreation, environmental impacts, and public safety, in addition to typical land use policies and maps. The current process is designed to address the opportunities and challenges posed in communities like Downers Grove that are either nearly built out or land locked.

Working with consultant Houseal Lavigne Associates, the eleven member Comprehensive Plan Ad Hoc Committee is responsible for drafting a Comprehensive Plan to recommend to the Village Council in 2010.
