The Illinois Tollway Family Safety Fair is scheduled Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Illinois Tollway headquarters, 2700 Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove, IL. To help keep kids safe and parents worry-free this summer, the Illinois Tollway and State Police District 15 are teaming up to host this free event offering kids’ identification cards, child safety seat inspections, roadway safety simulations and more. Face painting, crafts for kids and healthy treats will be available, as well as entertainment from Radio Disney and the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.
