The Downers Grove Park District, in partnership with the Village of Downers Grove, will host a Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Village of Downers Grove Public Works, 5101 Walnut Ave. This event is open to residents of DuPage County and does not include businesses or not-for-profit organizations.
Items accepted include: electronics, scrap metal, bicycles and personal documents for shredding, limited to two boxes per vehicle.
