  • The second floor restrooms are now closed. Restrooms on the first floor near the north entrance are available for use.

  • An impromptu storytime was held in the back of the Junior Room on Saturday, April 5. We'll host storytimes as space allows.

  • Starting Wednesday, some wall framing will begin. Expect some dust and noise. The automatic item sorter in Circulation Services is also coming soon. This will get items back on the shelves and in your hands quicker. A viewing window will let you see it, according to DGPL’s website.

Patrons can watch the renovation magically spring to life by following its progress on the Downers Grove Public Library Facebook page.
