On the Agenda: Village Council Meeting (5/8)

The Village Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers inside Village Hall. Below are some highlights from the proposed agenda.

On the Consent Agenda:

•A bid awarding a contract for $310,437 to H&H Electric Company for streetlight maintenance. From the motion:

The Village maintains 1,475 of streetlights as part of 110 distinct systems throughout the community. The purpose of this contract is to utilize the services of a contractor to complete repairs to street light systems including troubleshooting electrical issues or replacing faulty underground cable, repairing controller issues, in addition to repairing streetlights knocked down or damaged as a result of vehicle accidents.

On the Active Agenda:

•A resolution authorizing a sales tax rebate deal with Lemon Tree Grocer.

First Reading:

•An ordinance authorizing the sale of surplus real estate at 5237 Benton.
