On the Agenda: Village Council Meeting (6/5)

The Village Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers inside Village Hall. Below are some highlights from the proposed agenda.

On the Consent Agenda:

• A motion awarding a contract for $347, 176.81 to V3 Construction Group for reconfiguration and naturalization of Prentiss Creek (Sub E)—Kensington Place.

On the Active Agenda:

• Ordinances and resolutions to annex, rezone, consolidate and authorize a special usage for land in connection to a proposed Walgreens at 63rd and Woodward.

Up for First Reading:

• A bid awarding $130,522.50 to Mondi Construction for 2012 sidewalk replacement program.

2012 Roadway Maintenance Program, Street Resurfacing (A) Phase 1

Awarded Amount: $2,071,188.10

Contract Completion Date: 8/3/12

Contract Completion Date For Sod: 9/15/12

Work Performed This Week:

Concrete curb & gutter, affected concrete aprons and sidewalk removal and replacement continued in the Valleyview area, Deer Creek area and throughout the Downers Dr, Red Bud and Red Silver area. Some parkway restoration prep continued in the Valleyview area.

Work Anticipated Next Week:

Parkway restoration prep to continue in the Valley view area and progress to the Deer Creek area. Repair of affected asphalt driveways may take place week of 6/4 in the Valleyview area, Deer Creek area and throughout the Downers Dr, Red Bud and Red Silver area. All resurfacing work scheduled for Snowberry remains on hold until after the current watermain improvement work is complete.
