Page Will Help Downers Grove 'Grow, Thrive'

I have lived in the Downers Grove/Darien area my whole life and have been teaching for more than a quarter century. I first met John through a mutual friend more than 10 years ago and was impressed with his spirit and verve. 

When I learned that he was running for Village Council I wasn't surprised. He has been active in the community for years, and this seemed like a natural progression. He is such a caring, giving person who will continue to help Downers Grove grow and thrive. 

He understands the need to maintain a financially balanced budget—which is critical to maintaining core services that are vital to the community. But he is also a caring and thoughtful person who looks out for the best interest of others.  

He is a very creative problem-solver who listens intently and works with others to come up with unique solutions to very difficult problems. In teacher-speak : John works and plays well with others! I would certainly want him on my team!!

I highly recommend him for Downers Grove Village Council.
