Park District Narrows Search for New Director

Process to replace retiring Dan Cermak expected to be over in April.

A successor to the retiring director Dan Cermak is expected to named in early April.

According to Triblocal, Park Board President Bob Gelwicks said he expects the process to be completed the first week of April, but would not say how many final candidates the board is choosing from.

The park board used the Illinois Association of Park Districts to find potential candidates, Triblocal reports.
