Park District to Hold McCollum Meeting Tonight

Public is invited to view plans for park renovation

In an effort to present the McCollum Park renovations plans to the entire community, the Park District will hold an open house and public meeting tonight  from 6:30-8 p.m. in Room 503 at the Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Ave.

This will be the second public meeting held about the planned renovations. The first was held in June 2009 in the McCollum picnic shelter. Since then, the Park District has hired a land surveyor to complete a topographic survey of the park and an engineering consultant, who has begun the design process.

Questions can be addressed to Todd Reese (treese@dgparks.org) or Paul Fyle (paulfyle@dgparks.org)  at 630-1304.
