Pothole Patrol: Village Works to Repair Blemished Roadways

Crews are patching up roads left in poor shape after rough bouts with winter weather.

Pothole repairs are in progress in Downers Grove, following a week of fluctuating temperatures and varying precipitation.

Crews are currently inspecting roads and filling potholes using a hot asphalt mix. The work will be divvied up and prioritized based on the Village's snow route map, which accompanies this article.

Work began Monday and was expected to take the entire week as crews work to inspect and make repairs along all routes.
