Ron Sandack Named to Illinois House Republican Leadership Team

Sandack, who represents the 81st District, was named a Republican Floor Leader on Oct. 11.

State Rep. Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove) will serve on the new Illinois House Republican leadership team beginning Nov. 1, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) announced Oct. 11.

“As Floor Leader, Representative Sandack will lead our caucus in all floor debates and negotiations during veto session and during the spring session which runs from January through May,” Durkin said in a press release. “Representative Sandack is the perfect choice for this important role because he is very well-respected for his knowledge of the issues and for his ability to concisely articulate our caucus message.”

Sandack, who served in the Illinois Senate before moving over to the House in January 2013, said he was honored to be named as the caucus’ official floor leader.
