Circus Tickets Still Available

Tickets still are available for the 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. performances of the Kelly Miller Circus, which will bring its animal menagerie and performing troupe to Downers Grove on Monday, Sept. 26 for the District 58 Education Foundation’s annual fall fundraiser.

The circus will set up on the Fairmount/O’Neill Middle School grounds at 59th Street and Blodgett Avenue. In addition to the performances scheduled for the afternoon and evening, a free treat is also available the morning of Sept. 26, when everyone is invited to come out and watch the animals being unloaded and fed and the elephants raising the big top. Activities will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the tent will be raised at 9 a.m.

Tickets are $14 for adults/$7 for children in advance, and $16 for adults/$9 for children at the door. A limited number of ringside VIP boxes also are available for purchase. Tickets are available at the District 58 Administrative Service Center, 1860 63rd St. and Community Bank of Downers Grove, 1111 Warren Ave.

The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to the students of Downers Grove Grade School District 58. The Foundation’s mission is to acquire and distribute financial and other resources for programs and projects that enhance or supplement educational programs and provide enriched opportunities for learners. Education Foundation-sponsored programs in District 58 include Sneak Preview for incoming seventh-graders; the Select 58 eighth-grade service awards; grants to support curriculum, technology and staff development; and Distinguished Service Awards for staff.
