Downers Grove's two school districts will team up Tuesday night for a free, Halloween-themed concert.
"Spookfest" will begin at 7 p.m. in the Downers Grove High School auditorium, 1436 Norfolk St. The Community High School District 99 orchestras will perform a variety of seasonal tunes during the concert, including "A Night on Bald Mountrain" by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky.
The high school orchestras will be joined by music students from Herrick and O'Neill middle schools in Downers Grove Grade School District 58. The younger students will perform side-by-side selections during the concert.
"Spookfest" is free and open to the public. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
