Gorski, 68, is a retired financial institution examiner with 30 years experience in the banking industry. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning a bachelor's degree and an MBA. He lives in Darien with his wife, Moneta.

Applicable experience qualifying you for the position: Managerial experience obtained during 30 years employed in regulating of banking industry.
What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
To ensure that the system is (and will continue to be) well managed, both financially and operationally.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
Review the possibility of having an Internal Auditing department within the district. Internal Auditors are required in certain states (NY law 2005 Chapter 263 § 2116-b and c), and I have seen that they are highly efficient within an organization when properly operated.

Financial and management background and experience.
How long have you lived in your community and/or been active in local issues?
Thirteen years.
What's your favorite thing about Community High School District 99?
High level of academic achievements; we need to continue a high level of education.
