Motion: Move to approve the use of the birthday of Martin Luther King, the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, the birthday of Casimir Pulaski, Columbus Day, and Veterans’ Day for purposes other than a holiday including student attendance, institute days, parent teacher conferences, or staff development activities.

•In the non-action reports section of the meeting, there will be a presentation regarding education foundation grants.

•There will be a discussion regarding the search for a new superintendent.

•In a second reading, the board will hear more on a policy regarding student athlete concussions and head injuries, and then they will vote on approving the policy (policy # 5150.2)
