When and how did your business get started?
I have been in the retail business since 1987. It's what I always wanted to do. I geared my early adult life to one day opening up a boutique.
What is your business best known for?
Unique apparel and accessories that you won't find at a lot of boutiques.
Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
When I first moved to the western suburbs from the northwest side of Chicago, I wanted to also relocate my business. I fell in love with Downtown Downers Grove's Main Street. Quaint, charming...it was right out of a "Frank Capra" movie. Every store front was rented at the time, so I just waited for something to open
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
We are a discount boutique, offering 15 percent below retail on most of our apparel.
