When and how did your business get started?

After 18 years' professional experience in college admissions, student orientation and student leadership development at a variety of colleges—including the University of Miami, Northeastern University (Boston), Texas A&M University, Clarke University and others—Stephanie stopped to raise her family and work part time in sales and marketing. Just over a year ago, she returned to her profession as an independent educational consultant, specializing in college admissions coaching.

Based on her extensive experience, she brings a uniquely diverse perspective to the college search and admissions process.

What is your business best known for?

We guide high school students and their families through the full college search, application, and selection process. Our goal is to help students find the college that best fits them academically, socially and financially.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

We have lived in Downers Grove since 1997, when we moved here from Boston. Downers Grove is a wonderful community that suits our family well. We appreciate the strong sense of community, village pride, and quality of education.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

A primary element of our services is helping students discover their interests, find their passions and ultimately make the best decisions in their college choice.
